Has a nice beachy feel. Would have went with a deeper DOF to have the whole shot in focus.

Oddly enough, when I scroll to just the sand and texture, I like it better.

So I should have increased my DOF, what else could I have done to make this a good image?

Could there be any improvement in color and tones?

Well we covered the DOF, composition is pleasing, Def needs some more color work. That can be done post. If you could grab a sunset shot here....would be great. Needs more "pop"

Sorry, I am not seeing a big enough difference to do this? Just me, but a crop in the first OP photo kind of fits..... I like the photo just below the objects on the right upper area... not seeing the grasses nor the bird as an added subject.
