What country are you in? What lenses do you have? Do you have any prefered type of photography that you want to explore? In actual numbers, what is your budget?

welcome. Also good cheap place to start might be the Canon 50mm f1.8 or referred to here as the "nifty fifty" the 40mm pancake may also be an option for you as it has an STM which the T4i utilizes. Both are very cheap. The nifty 50 is $139 Canadian and the 40mm is $299 Canadian.

Welcome Tony!
My advice... be careful you don't get wrapped up in the moment. In other words.. it's very easy to get talked into spending boat-loads of money, on this site.

Most of the advice is top notch, but don't be fooled into thinking that good/expensive equipment will give you good results. Practice, practice, practice.. and read.. on techiques, and gallery's(for inspiration).

Last.. have fun, this is a great hobby, and this is a great forum, and you will learn a lot here! :)

Unfortunately, if you are looking for lenses for videos, the obvious two choices are the 18-135 IS STM and the 40mm STM pancake. They are more optimized for your camera and for video. As far as running out and spending all of what budget you have left- I think 1Tanker is spot on- don't.. You should probably only purchase when you can afford to - and get only stuff that you know you want- rather than react to someone's sale. Until then, use what you have- and replace it/ upgrade it/ add to your kit when you find something that needs addressing. Now, if I would listen to my own advice- I'd be good.

EOS 5D III, EOS 7D,EOS Rebel T4i, Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS II, Canon 24-105L, Canon 18-135 IS STM, 1.4x TC III, 2.0x TC III, Σ 50mm f/1.4, Σ 17-50 OS, Σ 70-200 OS, Σ 50-500 OS, Σ 1.4x TC, Σ 2.0x TC, 580EXII(3), Canon SX-40, Canon S100
Fond memories: Rebel T1i, Canon 18-55 IS, Canon 55-250 IS, 18-135 IS (Given to a good home)...
