I don't usually do landscapes but as I was traveling west a saw lots of sights worth giving it a go. Let me know what you think. The Train car and Horse shots were done from a speeding vehicle while on the highway (not much planning in them). I tried to do the Yellowstone grand canyon and other views justice in such harsh lighting and with my kit lens and some PP in Lightroom. Thanks for looking.

Your asking for C&C on images done under those circumatances...incredible.

Well I would not have kept or posted them if I didn't think they came out ok ;). I just meant they may not be super sharp or have other minor errors I may have missed in post. I just happened to see it while on the road and tried to compose the best I could in the short window I had.

I think you had quite a nice trip and saw some spectacular areas, but, due to the conditions and all, these images look like well-done snapshots. The biggest problems are ones that you already noted, though, lighting and shooting from a moving vehicle; I think that if you'd had more time and been a different time of day these could have been much better.

Sometimes we just can't get there at the magic hour, etc, and we take what we can get from these trips. For what they are, *I'd* sure keep 'em around :)

You did a great job taking the pictures but not so great during post process. All of them are over saturated IMO. Don't go over board with that on post cause it kills the magic of the picture. Just my opinion.

I think you did a great job? The first feels slightly sharp, but the rest, outside of possibly having a tad more contrast, look lovely. I would crop the Teton photo eliminating the tree on the right.

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.
