My wife and I were walking from Fremont Street to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop( TV's Pawn Stars series) on Las Vegas Blvd. I heard a jet passing overhead and looked up to see a white plane with a red stripe and no commercial markings on it. I took two quick shots but only had the 24-70 lens on my camera. I'm assuming this is one of the infamous Janet flights I've read about. I acknowledge the photos are not the best  but this was far more interesting than the pawn shop.

This was our first trip to Las Vegas. Things are so over the top there I guess it just seemed in keeping with everything else that this plane would fly over. :)

That's exactly what they are. They fly out of McCarran to Groom Lake (Area 51, Nellis AFB, Nevada Test Site, etc.) as well as other locations that are government-owned. There's a separate terminal at McCarran where the government employees that work at those sites board the planes & then fly in to work. They run a semi-regular "commuter" schedule.

Used to be run by a government contractor, but I believe the USAF runs it now.

We saw them a lot on our past trips to Vegas.
