Well I took a little trip down to Dunn's Falls yesterday to try out the new Vari ND filter. Lighting was harsh, very bright, and it was hot! Took a few with my 24-105 l & with my Sig 85 f/1.4 using my shutter boss release.

After I got home and loaded them up in LR4 they looked a little soft and the harsh sun was tough on the falls by the grain mill.

I'm learning, CC is welcome as I know I have a lot to learn about this technique.

Thanks in advance for your help!

jeff

Thanks Rick, I guess I should have tried a polarizing filter, they just don't look quite as crisp as I thought they should. I hope I get better at this as I love the effect.
