Hey, it's the memory that matters in this case, not the technicals. Try a little more contrast and less brightness if your looking for a better presentation.

Thanks! I know it's memories that count more than Tech. However, when you are trying to learn the field... You need all the help you can get. Thanks for your tip. I touched it up a bit. I love the reflection in the floor. Wish there was some way to bring it out more.
Here's another one I took of my Daughter and Son (twins). Was playing around with back drops (black sheet) and props. these are what I came up with. C&C welcome...

I would have to agree forkball. I'm looking forward to getting a nicer camera cause these little critters are going to be my models. My oldest son has awesome eyes as well. he's only 5 1/2 and is already breaking hearts!!!

They're lovely shots - my son is 20 months old now, and the only time he is still for more than a few seconds is when he is ill (so I'm getting quite good at focussing on moving targets :))

Your use of the black sheet has worked really well. The only thing I can suggest, is that because you appear to only have a built in flash, to try and use as much natural light as possible - it would make for less harsh shadows, and would make the images less grainy - otherwise, (when it gets warmer), take the shoot outside.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Will try to post more when they come available. I've got more but... files are to big. Need my husband to show me how to make them smaller.
Stay tuned......
