Colour management and working across computers

I have a live/work space. My workshop is located in a different part of the building to my apartment. My printers are in the workshop but I prefer to edit at home on my main computer, tho originally it was supposed to be in the workshop too.

Anyway, I am wondering if I can just edit at home and then take the file to my laptop in the workshop all ready to go, and print from that? Assume would just need same paper profile and drivers on laptop and press print. Screen on main computer is calibrated.

Yes. All calibrated screens should show the image looking about the same.

Cheers Tim ... am not too concerned that image looks same on laptop and main PC screens, but rather that output works just as if printer was attached to main computer.
