Here's a few pictures I took along with the couples pictures I took today at the lake. These are some I took with the timer of me and my wife. I posted these seperate because these are personal and not for print for the parents. Haha. I do hope you all tell me what ya think and any tips for better results/compliments you have for me.

I sure hope they do. They were there when we got married. ;)

Thank you both for the feedback. Still hoping for some more . . .

kissing leads to backrubs..

IMO to improve your silouette shots you need to get a little lower. basically anything you want to be silhouetted, needs to be back-dropped by the light source.. In this you were fighting the hill line for exposure

here is an example from a recent engagement

Well, I was more less testing the results of shooting straight into the sun or the sun's reflection off the water and what kind of effect it had. Now I would like to pick your brain on tips for achieving good results when doing silouettes though. Do you go back and post edit them to black them out or what? I have tried a few playing around and tend to find myself at a draw of either having the foreground of the subject lit or the sunset under exposed. Is there any advise you can offer me on this?
