Gulf Hagas Maine

These shots are from a recent trip to Gulf Hagas in Northern Maine. We didnt get to see everything, but Im going back in the fall to do the entire Gulf Hagas Rim Trail. It rained for the entire morning as we hiked, not the most enjoyable experience, but absolutely worth it. What made the day even less enjoyable was getting lost in my girlfriends VW bettle on really harsh logging roads for a couple hours on the way out. Silly me thinking a gps and a smartphone would get us where we needed to go, next time I go to rural Maine (or anywhere for that matter) it will be in an awd vehicle with a map.
