Mode for T2i

I'm on my second attempt at remote triggering my T2i with a 430EXII. Its in the dark outside right now. I'm using 3 PW Plus III's. One to trigger the camera with the flash on it, another as a repeater and the third is here with me.

ETTL set on the flash. I'm in TV mode at 1/60.

What mode should I use?

I'm trying to get a photo of a coyote, but cats are getting on the bait, When I wake the camera, they scatter. So I imagine the coyote will do so even faster.

But I'll be up for awhile so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Is it already completely dark where you are? If so, you can set it to Manual and dial in the settings exactly right. If using Tv mode, I'd go up to 1/200 sec since you are using flash. Test it out.

Well I've been back out there several more times to adjust things, think I'll let it be now.

It's the flash waking up thats making the noise. So hopfully I'll see eye's in the woods before anything comes out and wake up the camera and flash before it gets so close.

Oh, I'm watching from the PC on an outdoor security camera to know when to take a photo. Here's a shot with a cat, so maybe it will work. also no processing or crop on this.
