Hi everyone,

Does anyone here have the Canon ACK-E6 AC Adapter Kit? What are the specs? I am trying to get the specs out of Canon, but it's harder than pulling teeth! I'm particularly interested in the Output specs. I don't even know if Canon lists the specs on the product or in the literature supplied with the adapter, but if anyone here has the Canon ACK-E6 AC, can you please have a look for me?

Thanks in advance!

What do you need the specs for exactly? Just out of curiosity.

I already have an older adapter, and I have the dummy battery that will fit the 5D. Now I just need to know if I can use them together. I would like my 5D2 to keep working. :)

Ah, gotcha. Well a simple google search shows quite a few compatible adapters and lists specs for all of them....

I know. I just didn't know how much I could trust those "compatible" adapters, if you know what I mean. :)

BTW, I got my answer on another forum, so I'm gonna repost the information here, for anyone else interested:

The official Canon-branded adapter kit has these output specs listed on it: 8.0 V === 3 A.
