my daughter brought me to look in the hallway: 'he's so cute...' all of my kids love spiders (see my old Kai's spider post). she actually tried to pick it up.

here it is using 135f2 L plus 36mm ext tube. i tried using a shorter lens but the spider got very upset ! btw, the tiles are 25mm/1 inch across (i have another shot where its legs are spread out across the tiles.

here it is on the wall next to the bathroom, so you can get an idea of its size. you could hear it walk on the wall. i got down under it to take the photo and it jumped onto the camera. fortunately i'm not squeemish about them otherwise i could have dropped it - body and lens :eek:

Great series of shots, gives us an idea how large the spider is and a very nice macro besides.
