Despite playing the headline slot on the main stage, Dirty Three had woeful backlit stage lighting.

Musically, they were a trip worth taking. Photographically? Not really.

The noise kills it for me in 4. I don't like the composition anyway though... Busy background. Other then that they are great.

Great set...I don't mind the noise in #4...And the background is a stage; It's supposed to be busy.

easy fix for #4...convert to b/w and crush the blacks!

decent set...i like 3 the best. Warren's got a tendency to play w/ his back to the audience a lot and he's wildly unpredictable in movement. i love this band, though. they put on the best show of the Saturday's lineup at ATP.

thanks Tim.

I'm not really a fan of making a single image from a set b/w unless the whole set is going to match it. I mean, sure if this was going to be a print I would treat it individually and (more than likely) make it b/w. But as a set, I'll deal with the noise. :(

What a great band tho! So powerful.
