I have been seeing more studio images where the floor is reflective - almost mirror like, but with the color of the background and floor. Looks like something transparent placed on the cloth. Just wondering what people are using for the effect.

I just picked up a second tile board from HD, and it is an entirely different shade of white! My previous purchase was only a month ago, but from a different HD location. Just an FYI!

Aug 08, 2012 17:49 | #6 Thanks everyone, what I am looking for is clear - sorry should have been more specific. Question is do you want a flexible sheet of plexi. Also, does anyone know if Home Depot, Lowes or another store that is generally local would carry something like this? R5, 5D MK2, RF 100-500, RF 800 f11, RF 24-105 f4, RF 1.4c TC, RF 100-400, EF 70-200 f2.8 II,EF 24-70 L, 70-200 f4 L, 85 1.8, 50 1.8,

And that scratches and the edge will highlight pretty strong under studio lights. Unless your shooting at 1.something you may have to PS the far edge. Shoot it over black or dark papers and every image will require post.

I can use with any color, because is transparent. I like what you posted - problem is Amazon does not have it anymore and not link on where I can get something similar. I have been doing some Google searching but nothing is coming up. I will keep looking. Thanks for the responses, I know what to look for now I just need to find it R5, 5D MK2, RF 100-500, RF 800 f11, RF 24-105 f4, RF 1.4c TC, RF 100-400, EF 70-200 f2.8 II,EF 24-70 L, 70-200 f4 L, 85 1.8, 50 1.8,

If its white, then it may well be a sheet of white tile board available at places like home depot for about $15 per 4x8 sheet. Nice thing about the tile board, if you decide you need two, if the overlap is away from the camera the seam is nearly invisible. If it's white it's a muslin or paper under the Plexiglas.
