Not sure if this is a great deal, as I've never actually read the magazine - but I thought some may enjoy it.

I don't think it's too good. My photog mag subscriptions were bought on sale for ~ $13 for three years each.

Maybe Shutterbug is better, I dunno.

I think I paid like $14 a month or so back. if you go to the grcery store and grab the subscription cards out of the magazine those have the best deals. For example I went to the digital photography (I think that was the one) website and they wanted like $14 a year. My card said $12 and it gave a specific web address to use.

I don't know , for that particular magazine I think it's a good deal. I get most my mags on-line these days, but $17.99 is a lot better than the shelf price, or even their leaflet price.

jmo.....

EDIT...

After searching a bit more, it looks like the mag can be ordered directly from thier site at that price. Some more searching and I found this link with a discount code..

Or even years.. For a buck per mag I can throw it in my bag for when I'm traveling or share it with people at work...

There is still something about holding the print in hand and being able to look at it. Plus.. and I hate to say this, but I get them for the ads. you find out what might be new or get some ideas on what you may want to purchase or research for a new purchase.

Oh, sorry but one more thing... Don't expect an issue for a few months. I paid at the end of June for a sub and when I called last week they said they got the order like July 1st and that they would be starting my sub with the august issue. I sure hope they mean the November issue that comes out in August as they are always a few months ahead and I most likely ordered because I bought the august issue in the store back in May or June.

I don't think it's too unusually. Sad to say, but the older I get the lower my expectations are with everything.. So with that said, even if I get my first sub in January, I wouldn't be surprised and it wouldn't bother me...;)
