Thanks. I just need to travel somewhere exotic. Yeah, I'm not getting rid of it any time soon. My daughter has her passport already and we're planning a trip somewhere to celebrate the new year.

I will hold on to my D700 until it gives up I still havent't found a reason to upgrade. i just ordered the new ipad let's see if I would be able to distinguish the 2 and 3 base on the display

Exactly... I don't print much and if I do, its usually in small sizes only. iQ wise, the limitation is me and not the camera

Yeah I feel you. Like I said until I really start doing portrait work and getting paid I wont upgrade to a D800. I know eventually I'll need the MPs to do that stuff but until then, it suits me well.

It was a photo on my memory card that I didn't know what it was so I bumped the exposure 4 stops and shadows etc..... it really started out as a what is this of then I was pretty impressed that there was an image there
