Top Gear USA is the best ever! I can't stand the UK version; nothing against the British; it just takes me a little to get their humor, and by the time I do get it, they've told another 'funny' remark. I may have to watch some UK, though, as I just signed up for Netflix, and they don't have the US version. :(

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

How can you NOT get British humour? The "in your face" US humour is just too easy, and lacks wit, dryness and/or sarcasm.

Best regular pizza in New York comes from Rays. Best thin crust easily comes from Grimaldies :D

A lens shot on a black background with a key light hitting it isn't unique to anyone here. It has been done more times than the single eye in focus shot :lol: Nice lens shot Jake-E. don't worry you didn't copy anyone. Pretty standard shot :D

Your jelly :p

How can you NOT like Tanner Foust?! Favorite driver ever; Rallycross beats NASCAR, hands down.
NASCAR: Turn Left. For the next 300 miles.
Rallycross: Screech around curves sideways at 100 MPH that make WV roads look like highways, while trying not to turn your car into a metal pancake.

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

I use to think the same way. As soon as the high iso performance started improving I tried it again and now I use it more often. Really depends on the situation but it's helpful when birding and you have to deal with changing light. You don't always have to time adjust your iso especially when it's critical to keep your shutter speed up.

I NEVER used shutter priority but now that I changed cameras that almost seems like the best option for this body when shooting BIF.

So you shoot in M just set the shutter And f/stop then let auto ISO go? What do you set the minimum and maximum to?

The beach somewhere down south earlier today... I had to find another hotel last night because my booking was not properly handled on the island resort I was suppose to go to.

Apparently on the D800 he was able to set the minimum shutter speed on his camera to 1/1000 and then let auto iso do its thing. But the 5dmkIII only allows for the minimum shutter speed to be 1/250. Which makes it useless. So odds are Dan has to play around and set a higher than needed iso just so in shutter priority the shutter speeds go up. Pretty annoying for what he does.
