I could, but speedlights are still expensive... I'd still need an assistant if I bring speedlights or elinchroms regardless since i'd need someone to hold something.

no if you brought 2 speedlights with stands and somewhat small modifiers you would have no problem carrying it.

duh, you. However if you get the trigrip ones they are made to be able to be clamped to a cheap stand. Better then an assistant, people move too much, even assistants.

Best dang reflector out there, its a shoot through even!
