I wouldn't be... plenty of the threads in this section have other topics that are discussed.. the RRTP is a prime example and they are fine with the mods. This thread just gets out of control at times.

if the stratos support HSS (I think for got the canon lingo) then you can set your camera above the maximum rated SS (normally 1/200... might be 1/250th on your 5D) so no matter what mode your in max sync speed is going to be either 1/200 or 1/250th no faster so you will have to shoot a smaller aperture
