I never buy those things. If you have a problem with the product you simply return it.

What if the break is my fault? And how long do I have to return something?

B&H return policy is 14 days. And you have a few extra days when you request an RMA ;) gives you about 20 days :p

I know I've asked this before, but when buying from B&H should I get the protection plan as well? I always feel inclined to get it for the longest period offered, too. Is this a wise choice?

Xa10?

Ahhh, gotcha ;)

Well If my jh16's don't work out for me I'll be sure to sell them, buy another pair of Westone 3's then get the 105.

I don't have nearly enough for that unless I sold my lighting setup.

Yes, but for anything really. I'm probably gonna get a Spyder4 and it was offering a 2 or 3 year protection plan. So I was just wondering what the best thing would be. If I get the XA10, I'll probably get a longer plan and maybe a shorter one for the Spyder.

Save up! Psh, 85mm in understandable but 105mm? C'mon, that thing is a prime 2.8 that wont give you as pleasing results as 70-200 VR II would! Unless you're into macro world

Fwiw, macros can get closer and I've wanted a macro for the longest time. Saving up is no option as I have no job and no money to waste extra...

I mean... It is my school I'm using sooooo I don't even have a need for one, maybe I can get one as a graduation present, or if I get a lot of paid work.
