Yup the D600 wouldnt cut it ;)

They had work stations right outside of this place with people editing all the shots on LR4. Lot of these photogs were using the wireless transmitter options.

Very cool. :)

yup. i think i will stick with canon for now. d800 can wait until middle-end of next year. stocks are pretty non existence at the moment anyways and nikon doesnt go on sale (or do they?) so no need to rush.

PFFFT! Go nikon now. 2100 FF. What more do you want ;)

Here's a bit if advice. Nikon holds it's value longer over Canon. Watch the prices between the D800 and 5D 3. The 5D 3 will be cheaper but, it might kill sales since the D600 is out. :)

For real. I know the D600 would fit his shooting style.

if 5d3 goes cheaper then that would be great. though the d800/e will always be in my mind so im in conflict ;p

reason for wanting the d800 is dr, iso, mp, no banding.

No he's not, he's just saving us from having to hunt reviews down to see how good the D600 is. He can give us a comparison to the D800. :p

No I am not interested aaaaaaaaaa.... Haha

It has been a hectic week for me with Fashion Week going on. Finally the last day of it ended yesterday.

Ah.. B&H already shipped my SHure se535's and I ordered Westone 4R's from Amazon.. Looks like I'll be testing both and see which ones I really like.

If 6D doesn't have a built in flash, I'm going double system and getting a D600. Would have a nice setup like:

D600 + 16-35 VR + 50mm 1.4G
5DII + 70-200 IS II (maybe keep a 40mm)

Maybe Nikon will acknowledge the focusing issue by then.

I'll send you a few files at ISO 100. You're a landscape guy looking for DR! What else is there? Canon has nice lenses but, so does Zeiss and Nikon. A stupid red ring won't make you a better photog. :pYou already possess post the processing powers. Don't be scurred! ;)
