I'm not an ISO junkie. :)

Well that is the only thing they would compete on because res is out the window. So it comes down to ISO: Less MP should increase ISO performance at all levels but Nikon wouldn't undercut the D800 or D4 in that way.

True. Plus, the samples on the web doesn't tell me much. :)

How do you do that?

Copy the bw!one and edit it.

I made mine as an attachment, went into User CP | Attachments and clicked on it. That way I can embed it whenever I want using the [IMG]http://photography-on-the.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=615263&d=1347884780[/IMG] tags.

How do I gain membership?

Trust me. You really don't want to.

Jon, did you check out that link on the Aussie Pink Floyd band?

They're good. But I don't even listen to much of the original these days.

It doesn't show up on my smiley list. Yours must be a more advanced version. I like it though.

Canon 6D 11 point AF layout. Looks like the user will be focusing and recomposing.

Were you honestly expecting it to be better? No way.

There was plenty of garbage from random sources assuming it would perform better at higher iso's than the D800 because of the lower MP count. This day and age MP count is mattering less and less when it comes to high iso performance. The sensor and processor performance have a lot more to do with it.

I'm not an ISO junkie. :) So, it doesn't matter to me.

You need to worry more about performance when using a slower shutter/lower iso. For me it's the opposite although needing iso 6400 or higher is rare.

I looked at it from a camera lineup point. No way Nikon makes the D600 at 2100 bucks out ISO the D800 at 3k regardless of how low the MP is. Then factor in the fact that if it does out ISO the D800 then it starts to creep on to the D4. I would expect it to come under the D800 and D4 in terms of iso performance.
