You need to worry more about performance when using a slower shutter/lower iso. For me it's the opposite although needing iso 6400 or higher is rare.

Why do I need to worry? I rented the D3X a long time ago and the low ISO performance was very good. ISO 100-400 was similar to the 1Ds III until you go up to 800. ;)
I finally looked at the Flickr samples at ISO 3200 and 6400 on my good monitors and they look pretty good for full rez jpegs. The D3X at those ISOs were very noisy in comparison to the D600 which I believe is an improved sensor. :p

Canon 6D 11 point AF layout. Looks like the user will be focusing and recomposing.

IMG NOTICE: [NOT AN IMAGE URL, NOT RENDERED INLINE]

They really should have given it the 7D's AF.

Yeah I saw his post... That really sucks.

It seemed like he was more concerned about losing his Strava data than going over the handlebars on his bike though.

Yes, that is the way I worded it... :D But I suppose I could stand to have lost the ride data without having injured myself.

ahhhh....no. I have an new "L" coming in today. ;)

Nothing from Nikon or Canon will catch my interest until the 7D2/D400 comes out. I also like the new Pentax K5 IIs and soon to be announced K3.

Thankfully I haven't had any major wipeouts *knock on wood*

I had a close call the other day, took a corner a little too fast and there was some sand on the asphalt from a rain earlier in the week... my back tire slid out but I was able to recover...

I have to get up at 4:15am tomorrow to meet with a trainer for a swim workout... FML.
