I did a very quick seach, maybe used wrong wording? I have a couple studio strobes which are not to portable. I have a 530 exII I would like to shoot out on location. I have some stands and some softboxes and umbrellas. I guess I could just use my umbrellas when I am out. I am just curious how would I mount one of my softboxes to my 530exII, or to the stand I guess then put the 530 in the open hole? Please help and advise. Is there a DIY i can do at home?

What mount are your softboxes? You can get adapters for speedlights for various mounts, or you can MacGuyver your own if you want.
