Here are some shots from last night's game. The city was under a severe thunderstorm watch so I bailed at half-time when the rain started and the lightshow got underway just as I got to my car. Unbelievably they waited it out for 3 hours and kicked off the 2nd half at 11:00pm local time..! C&C always welcome.

Nice shots Joel, like the first and the last best. You shouldn't worry about rain, afterall, you have the magic drainpipe.

^ Thanks Don, for some weird reason repelling water is not one of the magical features of the drainpipe!

I did update the 7D to the new firmware, I was really bummed when I read that additional weather-sealing wasn't a feature.

How much sharpening are you applying? These seem noisy for some reason. I remember being displeased with my 7D files for that exact reason.

The light was fading so I was pushing ISO, the last one is 3200 I believe.

I started the night with 1/1000, f/2.8, ISO 1000 and kept climbing from there.
