Day 3 with 100L 2.8 IS Macro,
f/22, 1/400th, ISO 100 with 580 EXII HSSync

At f22 you might be losing some sharpness due to diffraction. But try sharpening these at 1 pixel x 100% or so and see if they look better. The first one may be underexposed a bit.
