When do you review them? How many do you discard? Do you do any post processing? I assume you're using high speed continuous a lot. When I first got into this I was taking over 2500 per months, but much of that was experimentation. I'm now much more selective when I'm out and about and shoot around half as much as I did before. Of that I keep maybe 20% or less and discard the rest. Periodically I purge even more. Don't know how I would manage 17K pictures in 2 months. That's exactly it, I think i'm still in the "experimentation" Stage. I haven't really been selective yet when shooting. But i'm getting there. 1Tanker wrote in post #14842513 It will be, i fill ~2 x 2TB drives/year (1 is a backup)..although i shoot RAW+jpeg. I shoot 40-45k pics/year, so ~3500/month. I Shoot RAW than use Photoshop to convert to JPEG, I Only save the RAW Files for Event Days like Birthdays, Weddings, Sports, Etc. Everyday Pictures however, I convert to JPEG from RAW. If your answer is "No", then this thread is moot. If your answer is "Yes", then you probably shouldn't have been that camera because you couldn't afford it. I'm usually very accepting, but that's plain weird. I hope you're kidding. That's 714 snaps an hour for 14 straight hours or 12 shots a minute, or one every 5 seconds for 14 hours! That's almost a physical impossibility. The per hour rate would be even greater if you spent time talking to anyone, eating food or went to the bathroom At that point why not just take video. Mark

He certainly wouldn't have had too much time to play around with shutter speed or aperture or other camera settings. Knowing what the event was could shed some light, but I'm trying to imagine what he got out of it. Mark

It would've been very difficult to do. If each photo was 18MB (I think 7D files range 17-22MB or so) then he would've needed at least 175GB of cards. Plus the battery lasts around 800 shots, so 13 batteries would've been needed. A very tough task to pull off. William | Fuji X-E1 | Fuji X100S | Flickr
