Clapper or King Rail?

I found this Rail with 3 young in east New Orleans louisiana. Are they Clapper or King Rails?

Don't know Randy, but I know they're very good shots.

Nice shots. Were they in a fresh water or salt water marsh?

They are terrific shots.

Clappers and Kings have been known to hybridize. Can't say if that's what these are however.

All we have in the UK (AFAIK) are Water Rails, so I couldn't help ID them. Good shots though.

Chuck I think it is brackish water, with all the rain we've had its probably fresh right now.
