Here is an HDR photo I've taken in Durango, CO. It's the Durango Silverton RR. What do you think?

Well it's way over cooked, but if you like that sort of thing, woot! To me it's way over done, major halo, and muddy/blotchy looking. I believe you have a good subject for HDR tho, I'd just try to tone it down. Trains always seem to make good HDR subjects.

I'm sort of with this guy. I think you have an excellent subject for overcooking it, but the basic processing items that wolfden brought up such as the haloing needs to go away. Get that stuff to go away, then to keep the overcooked look, I'd drop the saturation down a few notches.

It's certainly stepping in the right way but halo is killing it with just a little too much grunge . Try reworking it only make it some smoother and a little cleaner . I agree tho with all above it is a very good subject for HDR .
