After twenty years in lofts, it is time for a change. I'll still have twelve foot ceilings but will gain wood floors, it's 125 years old and an hour out of Atlanta. Interior pictures will have to wait till October when I move in.

Grats! But December 16th? Lol. You don't work in construction, do ya?! :p occupancy/completion dates are always off. Just sayin'. ;p

A friend of mine used the same builder, and his walkthorugh/completion dates were on schedule. I'm fine with them being off, but I'm pretty confident they'll hit their dates.

That's barring material availability problems. We have custom joists and stuff going in.

All that aside, grats! I may build my first home too but we will see! Land and homes are so expensive in Vancouver. If I was really smart, I'd pack my bags and move. Sigh...

Are you turning the entire home into a studio?

It will be a live/work situation. Most of my work is shot on location but there is plenty of natural light, beautiful details and one of the rooms will be dedicated to office/shooting.

Very nice Dago. I would swap spots with the modifiers or it may shift because of it's weight. Pack on the top left, heads to the right and modifiers where the others were.

I know this is an old post but do you have updated pictures of your studio?
