However I use them for completely different situations. The 2.8 for macro of course, but also anytime I need IS, like shooting in museums. The f2 I use for portraits or anytime I need that narrow dof. Since you already have the 85mm and the 100mm 2.8, perhaps a 135mm f2 might make more sense than adding another 100mm.
