I leant my friend my 70D last weekend while we were on a ski/snowboarding trip.

Nice! Finally, we get to see a real piece of photography equipment and not some random person with a smartphone, which I can see any minute of any day.

I taught her back button focus and had to set her camera up that way when we got back to the hotel room. I may have just spawned a more serious photographer.

Heya,

I was sitting at a bar on the West coast of Florida, in Cedar Key. Outside on the deck, with a drink and a pipe. I look out over the gulf to the pier, and I see a dude far out there walking around with a big black lens shooting pelicans. So pulled out my big black lens, and took his photograph with the same lens. After reviewing, I saw he was shooting a Tamron 150-600 on a Canon, I think 5D2 or 5D3 or 7D2 (one of those for sure, it says Mark XX at the bottom right and has no grip). So I took his photo shooting his equipment, with a Canon 1D2 and a Tamron 150-600. Kind of weird that two of these Tamrons were in the same town on the same day, in the middle of no-where Florida, population 658 in this town. I'm hoping to find out who it is, to say hi, and send him some candid "this is my squinty face when I shoot" images to remind him
