Friend and photographer who was shooting some stuff for us here. Sadly a day later the drone hit a tree and plummeted to the ground, breaking a Sony a6000 (well, the lens at least).

Yep, 600 Mk II. Belonged to a visiting pro (well, actually it belonged to CPS, but hers was in for repair). I got some time with it and well, yeah. I was impressed. Massively.

You might be surprised that they are not that bad to carry. I use the 800mm ( a little heavier) and with all the necessary additional gubbins I can do about 4 miles without problems on condition that there are NO hills!


The secret is that your wallet is so much lighter that the lens weighs nothing!
