Interesting assembly of people
I hope there weren't many behind her, not aware of her presence

We were backed up against a trestle with train tracks behind. No one was there behind us. There was a parade on the road below. This was towards the end of the procession.

I had not thought of that question myself!

Thunderstorms often have a heavy rain shaft with the sun shining on it. Think of rainbows. The rain that formed the rainbow that you see must be illuminated from the side. Someone outside that storm, off to the right, may have captured a beautiful rainbow.

Thanks. I was thinking maybe LED because the light looks cold.

Certainly drawn a crowd. Colourful.
Nice composition. Filled street stretching to infinity, empty street off to side. Quite a comparison

Thank you! The parade started on the bridge in the distance. The side with the crowd faced the commercial district with all the restaurants and watering holes. I'm guessing people loaded up on the essentials before heading for the parade. Getting to the other side would not have been easy for the ones in the back, whereas the ones in the front had no motivation to cross.

Hmm... Maybe more often than I thought. I went into central London yesterday and there was a guy with a Rollei standing right opposite the station entrance.
