What a beast of a lens! Very hefty in the hands, but didn't have a proper subject to test it out on. ![]() That's a monster of a lens. Do you think you would buy it? 5D mkII | 35L | 16-35mm F4 L IS | 50mm f1.4 USM | 135L |

Do you think you would buy it? If I had the money lying around, and a remote need for it, I would. Just for the 300 2.8 its worth it. In the future if I need such a lens with this range, I would very much consider it. I liked the build quality, and from the brief testing, the IQ was quite good as well. Shooting in ****ty indoor lighting, 1/40th of a second, handheld, I was impressed with the quality (sorry no photo). Nikon D810 | 24-70/2.8G | 58/1.4G

Nice I handled the new 200-400 as well, sorry no photos of that either, and it's a beast of a lens. I found it heavier than the Sigma 100-300, but that built in 1.4 converter is crazy! A simple switch and instantly have more reach. Plus with the 1D bodies you can add another 1.4 TC and still have AF!!!! :O Nikon D810 | 24-70/2.8G | 58/1.4G
