My first date with the Great grey owl

Earlier this year, I received reports that three owls had taken up residence near my home so I packed the camera gear and headed directly to this place.

When we arrived there were many cars that had parked in a field in order to get as close to the owls as possible. I got a tip about the location and went there to take pictures during the works.

One owl was very brave and focused on their hunt for food so I took the chance for some great pictures and here is the results:

Like the first one best, these are such beautiful birds I prefer to see more than just head shots IMO.

It's not so often that they showing up in the daylight but these 3 were out in the daylight too :)

Yeah I know, but this owl were almost sitting 100% of all the time that I visited them
