Very nice. The house lights on the grass add a different twist.

Hmm. Must check out Bethels as a dark sky spot sometime. At the moment I either go to Huia (which is still pretty bright) or all the way out to South Head (from New Lynn). Bethels might be a good compromise.

.........JEALOUS! That's how I feel. ;)

Very nice photo, great idea getting the cabin lights in and so nicely exposed on the grass. The stars are absolutely brilliant, what is the object center-left, just above/between the trees?

It's the Large Magellanic Cloud - A dwarf galaxy that hangs around our milky way.

Thanks, appreciate the comments.
Shall be doing some more star trails, and timelapse over spring, when we free up some time. :)
