I was looking at gitzo tripods and the budget I have in $1,400. What is your recommendations? I also will be using the Wimberley WH-200 ii. Thanks for all your help. Thomas

Nothing less than a 3-series Gitzo, and Id recommend a 5-series. If youre going with the Wimberly youd just slap that on top. If you need a head, either the Markins Q20 or Arca-Swiss Z1.
