There it is, taken with a Canon A510. 1/400 shutter and f8.0 100iso.

Thoughts?

It is not necessary to use such a fast shutter speed. Even a shutter speed of 1/80 is sufficient to freeze the moon. I would like to see more light and a closer crop if possible.

About 1 stop slower shutter should be about right at that aperture.
Try 1/200, f/8, ISO 100
