WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK -- Part 330 -- The Long, Hot Summer

Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is "The Long, Hot Summer." As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Here are the rules:

1. Shots need to be taken between Monday posting and the following Monday by Sunset (Whenever that is for you ). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!

2. Post your shots at any time during the week.

3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. Meanwhile in my area its not hot enough or long enough, especially on this August day with a high of 68F
Which made this topic kind of hard....

One from the UK.

We have had a hot and humid summer but yesterday was beautiful with no humidity so we went for a drive in the country.

Farmer's Market in Huntingdon Quebec gave had the results of a Long Hot Summer

John -- Sun tea. I wondered what was in the jug! Then I saw caption.

Klystron -- Pretty scene. And the sun does make it look hot.

75D -- You've shown what makes the long, hot summer worthwhile. Yummers!

The creek dried up early due to the long hot summer. You can see the normal waterline on the two big rocks on the left.

Tim -- Looks really dry. Kinda glad the snake was hiding from you.

I guess Joayne is still in the wilderness and out of the reach of technology.
