Nice work! For me #2 is the pick, with the tree on the right hand side and the twilight colour on the horizon.

Cheers,
Stephen

Very nice compositions, like #1 and 2.

I see a horizontal band line in #1 about a quarter of the way down from the top and also a faint one halfway down. Something wrong with your camera? Also, it would be less detracting if you didn't have your watermark so huge across the middle of the pic while asking for CC.;)

Thanks Spotz,
I didn't see the horizontal bands until now, good eye. It's most likely because I pushed the brightness up on the Jpeg version before I posted it. I do have the 5dmk2, and it's known to have banding issues when you try to brighten shadows, but I had never run into it before. I will try to edit the raw file and see if the banding shows up the same.

on the watermarks... I know they are annoying, but there's a new story about someone's picture getting stolen every other week here, so I'm scared :( I'll try to make them slightly less annoying next time, or perhaps leave them un-watermarked for a week up here, then watermark them when I leave the links active.

Nice images. I like #2 and #4 best, but all are good.
