I would guess the tree to be 75 feet high, I was standing on a bank about twenty five feet high and fifty feet away from the tree.My math is poor so you'll have to figure that out for the rest of us. Sorry. I was using a 300 f4L IS with 1.4 TC. Of course my newly acquired 1d MkIII I am so proud of. Thank you for inquiring.

I went from a 50d to the mkIII and it was like a door opened to a whole new auditoium. I was worried that the mkIII was too old but it proved otherwise. I'm glad I became a 1d mkIII user.
