Just refunded the pancake this afternoon. It is a good little lens, but after couple days of playing around, I still want the 50L to mount on my 5D MK II for everyday walk around. Anyway, with little more money in the bank from the refund, I think I am going to get the 135L tmr~!

I don't personally like to carry big, heavy lens. Especially when i am shooting wedding and long hours on location job. That's why I got the f/4 IS in the first place. And I just sold my 24-70 just because it is too heavy for my taste. When I first got the 24-70, I really like the extra weight. But after starting to shoot for money, I don't like the heavy lens anymore. It is such a burden to carry all those gears with me.

ic. So you are planning to cover the 24-70 with 50L? maybe a second body?

I'm thinking of returning mine to best buy and using the money to help fund. 24-105 or 17-40... Haven't decided which yet but I think the 24-105 may be more versatile. Ehh well see...

The main reason I sold the 70-200 2.8II and went back to the 135mm.

I already 2 extra camera with me, one T2I and one Fuji x100. I don't think need another body. And to cover the 24-70, I have the 17-40 and my 50L, that should be plenty.

agree.
reason why I'm thinking of getting either the 70-200 f4L or f4L IS as it's half the weight of the 2.8 and I'll just be using it for lanscape anyways

Same here. Miss the convenience of the 70-200, but the 135L quickly makes me forget about it when I see the images from it :)
