Set the camera to "A" and adjust for a reasonable aperature that yields a decent shutter speed. Do this in daylight and then take a picture. 2. Go into the menu and scroll right to the 8th menu option (3rd wrench). Go down to "Clear settings", press "Set". 3. Go down to the next option "Clear all Custom Func." and press set again. 4. Exit the menu and take another picture under similar condition as that acquired previously. Examine the EXIF information of both images and see what changed. That will be a clue as to the most likely cause. Page 144 How to set factory defualts added in case you need it. Thanks, I did all that, but i'll get a picture today, hopefully
