Hi All,

I just rented a Canon 5D Mark III for a photo shoot I will be doing for a catalog at work.
I have never tether captured a shoot with a Mac laptop before.(Only an iMac)

Here are some things that I have:

- Canon 5D Mark III w/ various lenses.
- Outside product showcase setup on table.(in the middle of a field)
- Reflectors/external flashes w/umbrellas.
- Macintosh Powerbook G4 laptop.(no photo/camera software)
- Camera to USB tether cable.

What are some FREE (if any?) solutions to tether capture the shots to the laptop while outside, so I don't have to shoot directly to card only and preview on the LCD?

I will be doing post production work to the files once I have the best shots that I think are suitable. This will take place on a different Mac.

I will just be using the laptop strictly for tethering/previewing, and transferring files.

Any solutions/advice extremely welcome!

Thanks!

Once you plug in the cable the screen shuts off...... Wireless solutions exist, but im not familiar with how they work yet!
