guys i have a Canon PowerShot A570 that i carry on the water when fishing...i am having trouble finding the proper rechargeable batteries for the camera...for years i have used Energizer AA NIMH 2500 MAH series batteries...1.2 volt...all i can find are the AA 2300 series 1.2 volt but when fully charged and installed in my camera. the camera wont open the lens,,,,says low battery.....
what other battery (rechargeable) can i get that will work.....
i was shooting a birthday party and i let a friend borrow my good batteries while i was shooting with my T2i and they have never returned them...:cry:

Sanyo Eneloops - they have very low self-discharge rates. It's not the mAh of a batttery at peak capacity, it's how much oomph it has left after it's been sitting around for a couple of days, weeks, or months.
