I have always thought it was a littlw weird to scratch something up without reason. Like always thats my opinion, It useless to most everyone but me… Great job tho. Keep up the good work. First step........ Take the lens cap off.

I love the "old book" aging effect, and how the buildings get progressively lighter as you look up the street. Only one suggestion I would make is to get rid of that single bike wheel in the bottom left--to my eyes it's too big and in a spot where it distracts my eyes and pulls them over to it. Other than that, bravo! I tend to agree with you about the wheel. After putting a lot of work into this and looking at it over and over, I don't know why I didn't see it then!

Was tricky but kept at it and was pleased with result! Terrilp wrote in post #14896004 I think you did a great job.. Really looks authentic. Thank you! I wasn't sure I could do this but all the positive comments has given me confidence to try this again.

Next time I'll think about a different texture without the scratches to see how it looks. Pearlallica wrote in post #14896044 nice work. I like the look you went with this. If it were me I would take it one step further and desaturate a tad more (especially the street lamps). It would give the photo a more washed out/aged look. I think you have a good point. I might just tackle that and see how it looks.
