I just recently purchased the Canon Rebel T3i. Since I will be using it for film making, I was mastering the controls in movie mode. However, I can't seem to change the aperture on the camera. I don't have an SD card in yet. Is that the problem?

rrblint Listen! .... do you smell something?  More info | Aug 15, 2012 22:32 | #2 You do need to insert a memory card...But in addition you also need to select manual exposure in the Movie Exposure category in the camera's menu...Then apertures and shutter speeds can be freely chosen. Mark
