I emailed Greg at his address listed in his signature and I really feel that I need to give an update. His reply was immediate and he expressed regrets for the email problems that they have been having. He is taking care of what I had included in the email and also has made an ‘upgrade’ suggestion for me while I am using the Manfrotto RC323 plates. So, while my initial emails to the company were not successful, the follow up with Greg’s direct email has been.

I have been (and still am) a great fan of the Luma products. They are well made and a pleasure to use.

Thanks for the update! Glad to hear that progress is being made :)

I have two of the Luma II's and sling one over each shoulder. This works pretty good for me. Should I ever need three cameras, I have a Luma I that can hang in front.

Anyone ever use this with a 70-200ii or the like? I just ordered today I can't wait to get it but I've been wondering how it's going to work with the big white. I chose this over BR and Spider systems.

Works great!
5DMK2 with 70-200 MkII, hangs securely in the small of your back/hip, lens straight down.
No swaying and snug. Strap frees smoothly for quick use.
Best strap I've ever used.

Also use it with a Sigma 70-200 OS and I love it. I use the podmount that attached to the tripod foot for the lens.

Same here. I use it with a 6D and a 70-200 Mk 2 with no problems. I only use the lens tripod foot on my 100-400.

Gear List

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

I love this strap... My biggest complaint (from my own desired configuration) is that I love the plate but I don't like the fact that I cannot use my tripod... I know about the podmount, but I don't like the way it hangs when using side and bottom.. I like them both on the bottom... I just wished the plate would also have the ability to mount a tripod mount to it... Ah well.. Not like I use my tripod much nor do I have a good one...

I don't understand. The plate is a tripod plate.

The plate is Arcs Swiss compatible.
