It is so great I have such willing models for me to practice on. Sometimes, I just go out and snap a few shots of them so I can practice some various editing. Since I recently downloaded Silver Efex Pro, I went back through some files I overlooked so see how I could convert them.

I came across these two, and they were great to play with, seeing as I worked on them first in PS for blemish removal, then worked on their conversions.

I know that portrait wise, they aren't anything special, but I loved practicing on them!

Thoughts?

1. Michelle is very serious, and not a big smiler when I'm practicing

2. Sarah is a little more laid back

Both are neat, but I like the picture of Sarah best, she looks so naturally happy, and the catch-lights are great.

Thanks Rick! I like the processing better on 1 as well (her freckles just make it so neat!)

And Michael, Sarah is for sure a little more laid back and it shows in her photos!

You're certainly getting the eyes to jump out of the picture.
